Learn to Knit a Hat Class (2 parts)

Learn to knit while making our Beginner Beanie! This in-person class will start from the beginning of how to knit while applying that knowledge to an actual project, allowing stitchers to feel success from the knitting get-go. Over the course of two sessions using the Beginner Beanie Kit, students will learn all of the skills needed to make a classically cool, ribbed beanie.
In this class we'll cover:
- Read a knitting pattern
- Cast-on (get the yarn onto the needle)
- Knit in-the-round
- Knit stitch
- Purl stitch
- Bind-off (get the yarn off of the needles)
- Seam a beanie top
- Weave in ends
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: No previous knitting knowledge is required!
Date: This is a two-part workshop taking place on Tuesday 10/10 and Tuesday 10/17, from 12pm-2pm (students must be available for both sessions).

What's included: Four hours of in-person instruction, plus video links for at-home support. The Beginner Beanie Kit must be purchased separately (so you can choose yarn colors.)
